Diet pop with aspartame actually makes your body crave sugar (and more diet pop)
Better to replace it with something without aspartame, some of the flavored waters with just a little bit of sucrose are better for you and for your body.
Making the change from regular soda to diet will help you when it comes to shaving off some calories but in essence it still will hold you back from the results you could be getting. Drinking water would be the best thing for you. Again when you eat or drink think about what benefit it has. Drinking water cleanses the body, diet soda though does nothing for you.
Opt to get rid of soda altogether. You’re getting closer to that goal by going to diet. I’d start off by just having 1 diet sunkist a day and then progressing to none at all. You can do it, take one step at a time.

Yes: try to drink water, water with lemon or lime to initiate you then plain water.
There were studies that drinking diet pops do not help you lose weight because dieters tend to make up the calories they didn’t get in the pop from food. I’ve noticed that diet pops are actually worse for me then regular because diet pops don’t satisfy my hunger and in fact they give me hardcore cravings for sweets
Make sure you drink lots of water too because caffeine is dehydrating.
Diet soda, and soda in general is torturous to your health. The chemicals used in diet soda products are actually more dangerous than sugar. Water is the absolute best thing. Your body needs water, it thrives on it.
From what I’ve heard, you’re more likely to lose weight, if you stay away from sodas in the first place.
No, it will not hurt you. It’s not good for your weight loss in the long run, but it can help you curb the habit of drinking so much soda. I quit drinking a lot of soda by switching to diet drinks (sprite zero), and then to nothing but bottled water. I noticed I felt better all-around when I was on just water. I didnt have sugar cravings and the water really quenches your thirst so you’re not so thirsty all the time.
Best thing is to just switch to bottled water and carry it around with you.
Switching to diet sodas is a great way to cut your calorie and sugar intake. Ive done the same thing recently, and its really helped! My boyfriend also lost 10 lbs fairly quickly when he stopped drinking soda.
