Diverticulitis is out-pouches of the colon that roughage gets stuck in causing inflamtion and infection. This can be serious and is very painful. I have never heard of this with the kidneys. The kidneys are the filtration of the body. Is this something the Dr told you you have or ???
I have never heard of it in the kidneys, just the colon. Once you have it you can’t really improve it; you just have to eat foods that don’t further irritate it. Sesame seeds are really bad, as they get stuck in the little bulging sacs. It is a very painful condition. Watching what you eat is the only way to prevent further attacks.
