What happens to your body, hormonally, as you lose weight?

zantetsu92 asked:

Various sources have told me that losing weight causes changes to your body, including hormonally, for example supposedly after you reach a certain level of activity, your body tries to keep achieving that level of activity (to hopefully keep your body at that weight?) and such.

Your metabolism slows as you lose weight. Therefore you need to consume fewer and fewer calories to lose it. It works like this : if you weigh 200 lbs. you burn about 2000 calories at rest. If you lose 20 pounds, now you only burn 1800 calories at rest. So, if you were consuming the 2000 calories at your new weight, you might not lose any. I hope that makes sense; it has to do with your BMR or Basal Metabolic Rate.

The key for losing weight is simple – consume less and move more – the problems appear when we actually try to put that into practice! There are a lot of opportunities to fail in the real world aren’t there?! The one diet which definitely worked for me was green tea, it can be seen in the resource box underneath, they have a handful of free trials left, it has been featured in Reader’s Digest and USA Today. I shed 20 pounds, it definitely does produce success!

How ya doin zantetsu92,

Weight Loss is actually very effortless once you learn the formula. Eat less, and exercise more. Think of your food as a nutrition, and not for indulgence. This way of looking at it will greatly increase your chances of becoming triumphant in your weight loss goal.

I struggled for many months to lose pounds. It was very troublesome until I started eating less and exercising more. I also started taking acai berry diet supplements. I first discovered Acai Berry on Dr. Oz and The View and just had to try it out. It is wonderful. I even got a Free 30 day supply at the web site beneath.

Visit the site, you will lose pounds.

Everyone wants fast results, but nothing has been shown to do that without causing other problems. every quick fix pill that has ever come along has been shown to damage the heart or liver. also you cannot pick and chose where the fat comes from. you can’t reduce your legs, stomach or hips by design. you lose weight, and your body uses its fat stores however it sees fit.

Your best bet, and the only thing that has been proven to work is a lifestyle change. you have to begin eating right and start getting much more active. focus on healthy/whole foods like fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains. avoid sugar, salt, simple carbs like rice, potatoes and white flour. limit dairy such as milk, cheese, butter, and watch fats like oils.
