Is it best to exercise before you eat or after you eat? or does it even matter?

I’ve decided to pretty much change my life from now on and live a healthy/clean life. But I was just wondering if exercising is best done after or before you eat, or if that even matters. I’m trying to lost as much weight as I can from now until the end of the year. And also are there any good diet tips you can give me? thanks.

well before and after but after and before should be something healthy like a protein or um like a fruit or gronaloa
bar or something filling but nutritonal at the same time

well i know that it is always important to eat something before doing anything physical just so you dont get dizzy or dehydrated. and after would be if you feel hungry or w/e

well im on a 1,500 calorie diet
& i do four 30 minute workouts spread out throughout the day.
with the workouts i do like intense treadmill workout
& ive lost 15 pounds in a month
& they havent come back

with the eating thing, eat after a workout because usually for me eating before just makes me tired, which makes me not want to workout.
unless your like reallly hungry then eat a little. like an orange or an apple.
but stay away from bananas theyre really fattening.

First YES it does matter.

I will explain you this in two direction.
First – weight training.

If you make weight training you should eat before and after.

The meal before is important, because you have to fill your muscles with energy for the training therefore to have enough energy to train your muscles on 100%.

The meal after is extremely important, because during the training you are “damaged” your muscles and you need to recover and prerecover them.

It is also important what food you eat before and after.
Before (2 hours) training you have to take more carbohydrate rich food, because you need energy.

After (15min) training you have to take carbohydrate rich food, but it has to be some sweet food and more protein to recover your muscles.

Second – cardio training.

If you want to loose weight you have to do cardio.
Don’t eat before cardio (your stomach has to be empty), because you want to burn fats during cardio not food energy.

After cardio take as much as posible protein.

If you want to loose weight the rule is 2 to 3 grams protein per kg.

I will give you some weight loss tips:
1) Reduce your carbos in half of your normal take.
This is the first step to diet.

2) Increase protein take.
Protein is your best frien during your diet, becouse it is almost imposible to gain fats from it.

3) Separate your food into 5 to 7 meals.
This will increase you metabolism and make the effect of diet stronger.

4) Do cardio.
3 to 4 times a week after weight training or morning before you make your breakfast for 30 min.

5) Follow golden rule: Be rich man on your breakfast, be workclass man on your lunch and be poor man on your dinner.

This means that you have to take most of your food with breakfast especially carbos.

Forget about carbos after 18:00 and take only protein food.
